01. Improvement of Elevated Bridge Landscape
The Metropolitan Expressway is aiming for a better urban landscape, actively improving road landscapes.
Route 1 Haneda Line Near Suzugamori entrance (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo)
We changed the bridge girder, bridge railing, and piers at the Suzugamori entrance from "light red" to "dark green" to better fit the lush greenery of the adjacent Shinagawa Kumin Park.
Route 3 Shibuya Line Near Roppongi intersection (Minato-ku, Tokyo)
We repainted the bridge girder and piers near Roppongi intersection and cleaned the exterior boards. We revamped the logo design of "ROPPONGI", making it suitable for the bustling area.
Route 4 Shinjuku Line Near Benkeibori (Minato-ku, Tokyo)
We repainted the bridge girder, bridge railing, and piers near the Tokyo Metro Akasaka Mitsuke station (near Benkeibori) to "silky white" which fits the surrounding landscape.
Route 4 Shinjuku Line Near Kita-sando (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo)
We repainted the bridge girder and bridge railing near the Kita-sando Station to "oyster color", aiming for a bright and pleasant space under the girders.
Route 6 Mukojima Line Near Yoroibashi (Chuo-ku, Tokyo)
We repainted the bridge girder, bridge railing, and piers of the Route 6 Mukojima Line near the Tokyo Stock Exchange (near Yoroibashi) from "light red" to "light beige" that fits with the landscape in the city.
Route 6 Mukojima Line Near Tsutsumi-dori entrance/exit (Sumida-ku, Tokyo)
We repainted the bridge girder near Tsutsumi-dori entrance/exit from "light red" to "light blue" which resembles the waterside of the Sumidagawa river.
Kanagawa Route 3 Kariba Line Near Motomachi-Chukagai (Naka-ku, Yokohama)
We repainted the bridge girder and bridge piers near Motomachi-Chukagai. We aimed to make the walking space of the beautiful Motomachi town more pleasant.
