October 14, 2024 (Mon・holiday), the "Metropolitan Expressway Environmental Fair 2024 in Yokohama" was held at Queen's Square Yokohama.
At the Metropolitan Expressway, we are working towards achieving carbon neutrality by reducing CO2 emissions through measures such as easing traffic congestion by improving the network and widening lanes, as well as conserving biodiversity in areas like the "Ohashi Sato no Mori" and the "Minuma Tambo shutoko Biotope."
At the "Metropolitan Expressway Environmental Fair 2024 in Yokohama," we introduced various environmental initiatives of the Metropolitan Expressway in an easy-to-understand manner. Workshop of crafting a one-of-a-kind bag which is repurposing used street banners for road work notification "Let's Make Your Own Bag from Street Banners!“

Participants in the quiz will receive an "Eco Bottle (with disaster preparedness items inside)" as a gift!
Additionally, if you participate at Metropolitan Expressway MM Park, you will receive a "reflector keychain." We encourage you to join us!
This facility allows you to explore various exhibits related to the Metropolitan Expressway, including an actual yellow patrol car and patrol bike, as well as explanations of Metropolitan Expressway signs and tunnel safety equipment. You can experience "new discoveries" and "surprises" that you wouldn't normally encounter in everyday life. Enjoy plenty of "Aha!" moments as you learn more about the Metropolitan Expressway.
