In our expressway business and other related businesses, including retail, parking, and real estate leasing (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Expressway Business, etc."), when we acquire personal information directly from a customer in written form, we will specify the purpose of use of such personal information in accordance with the Act in each case. In cases where we acquire personal information directly from a customer not in written form, or acquire personal information indirectly, such information will be handled within the scope of the following purposes of use.
(1) To provide products and services in the Expressway Business, etc.
(2) To collect tolls and provide various toll discount services.
(3) To provide information on products, services, various events, campaigns, etc., and various information on Expressway Business, etc. (including business conducted by our group companies and their group companies in this item).
(4) To analyze customer trends, and conduct research and analysis for product development related to Expressway Business, etc.
(5) To conduct questionnaires and prize competitions, and to send notices and prizes to winners.
(6) To ensure safety in Expressway Business, etc.
(7) To enter into and maintain contracts, and to provide notices and bills based on the contracts.
(8) To receive and respond to opinions, requests, inquiries, and visits from customers.
(9) To make or send seasonal greetings, or notices.
(10) To contact customers.
(11) To conduct management analysis and other surveys and research
(12) For employment management, recruiting activities, and provision of company information
(13) Other matters incidental to the above purposes.
*In addition, we may provide personal information to outsourcing contractors to the extent necessary in connection with the subcontracting of our services.

Purposes of use of retained personal data (Article 32, Paragraph 1 of the Act)
We will use our retained personal data for the following purposes:
(1) To provide products and services in the Expressway Business, etc.
(2) To collect tolls and provide various toll discount services.
(3) To provide information on products, services, various events, campaigns, etc., and various information on Expressway Business, etc. (including business conducted by our group companies and their group companies in this item).

Measures for managing the security of retained personal data (Article 32, Paragraph 1 of the Act)
We take the following measures to ensure the secure management of our retained personal data.

- We have appointed a manager who is responsible for the handling of personal data and clarified the responsibility of the employee.
- We conduct self-inspections of the status of personal data handling on a regular basis.

Procedures for dealing with requests for disclosure of retained personal data (Article 37 of the Act)
We have established the " Request for Disclosure of Personal Information " in accordance with the provisions of Article 37 of the Act and other related rules. If we receive a request for disclosure, correction, cease of use, or notification of the purpose of use of our retained personal information from a specific individual or his or her representative, we will respond to such request to the extent necessary and reasonable in accordance with the " Request for Disclosure of Personal Information ".
