Light up of the Rainbow Bridge
The light up of the Rainbow Bridge was planned after due consideration from the perspective of aesthetics of the city, making the city secure, and expanding time and space for living, in order to become the "face" of this region's future-oriented waterfront sub-center. "Electrodeless lamps" which boast features such as a long life, reduced power consumption, and high intensity are used for the light up. Furthermore, it became the world's first bridge to have a three-color light up. The contrast between a main tower illuminated in white and cable Light up that switches with time, beautifully colors Tokyo Harbor at night.
